Subject: Alabama the beautiful - again and still

Alabama's injustice system is the laughing stock of the nation and the world... I wonder when common sense is ever going to set in.  Not only the case cited in the BBC article below, but in case after case after case in Alabama.  Meanwhile, the officials claim not to understand why Alabama prisons are stacking people three high in single-cells.  Meanwhile, who is looking into the many cases here of claimed innocence?  Fear has set in and there it remains.  Officials fear they won't get voted in if they appear "soft on crime", but the truth is: officials need to fear that the won't get voted in if they continue to ignore the fact that judicial misconduct
is rampant in Alabama because there is no accountability in our courts (much less our prisons).

As the New York Times put it recently: "to convict someone of murder you really should have evidence that a killing took place.

"Even in Alabama."
