I write you from Switzerland today, in behalf of Mrs Sherry Swiney, whose cause in attempting to get urgently needed medical attention for her imprisoned husband, Mr Patrick Swiney, has reached our ears way over here and the reactions I am getting from people are stark disbelief that conditions like the described still exist; for us, they went out with the Middle Ages.

Commissioner Campbell, you are the man in charge, and you can look into whatever it is your underlings are doing.
I trust, from your position of office, that you are a gentleman, and have authority enough to correct injustices and help a man and a woman in distress. I have written too, to Governor Riley, and am sure between you, you can do something about these conditions mentioned.
