Subject: The Case of Kirstin Lobato

My name is Helen Caddes and I have recently become aware of a case of serious injustice in Nevada.  A woman named Kirstin Lobato was recently unjustly convicted of 1st degree murder and I am writing to you with the hope that you can help us to find some resources for her in Las Vegas, NV or if you would be able to include her in your listing of wrongful convictions.  This case has been emblazoned in my mind since the day I first read about it and I do not know what I can do to help her.  :(
Kirstin is going to be serving a life sentence for a crime she did not commit, and she is only 20 years old.

She was financial incapable of being able to get an attorney, and was assigned a public defender for her case, who bungled the process horribly and ended up getting her more time in prison than they had even thought was possible. The trial began when she was 18 years old, and now the same attorneys who got her all that time are filing her appeal (which will, in all probability waste it, as they won't find themselves incompetant).

I am have created a new website for her, which you can see here:

You can also see her family's site for her:

Injustice Busters also has her on their website:

I would love for her to be able to be included in your listings of the wrongly accused.  Please let me know.  I am really glad there are sites like yours out there.

Very Sincerely,
Helen Caddes
