I highly recommend that we all re-read the P.A.T.R.I.C.K. Crusade Mission Statement.  It is a good reminder of what we are working to accomplish for Society as a whole, in the United States of America.  What goes on in other countries is bad, very bad, too.  Someone needs to set an example for a "crime-less" society.  This isn't just about the 2,000,000 prisoners.  It is about us, all of us, as one society inhabited by self-governed, self-enlightened, mentally alert human beings.  What a vision I have.  But there it is...and I hope we can do it before we die.  I hope others will carry on after we die.  I hope the children of tomorrow enjoy living in freedom in an enlightened world.     We have all gone to sleep, lured by false advertising, to believe that giving up a little freedom here and there is okay because it will stop crime.  Did crime stop?  Are there not MORE, not less, prisoners in our bulging prisons today?  Are there not "new" laws to make new crimes to make MORE prisoners today?  Are there not hundreds of cases of actual innocence today?  People who spent 20+ years in our dark age prison environment -- FOR NOTHING!?  This is what our complacency has done to the American society.  It has made us a Prison Society.  That just is not acceptable to me, and it shouldn't be acceptable to anyone who is in their right mind and who is not asleep.  So, our job is to wake up those who are slumbering -- yea, snoring through all of this.     We have "let" [allowed] our government to take us over, rather than the other way around - as in We The People.  We have allow our basic freedoms to be taken away slowly over the decades, and in doing so, we have prostituted the freedom of future generations, if we don't get a handle on this now -- before we reach our graves.     They say life is too short to be wasting time on the small stuff.  I agree with that.  What some people perceive as big stuff, is perceived by someone else as small stuff.  It is all in the perception.  And life goes on anyway... until we die.  After death, we don't know if we can help the situation here on earth.  So why not do everything we can while we are still here?  Maybe it will make a difference to future generations.  Just as Hitler fell, so will the injustices we are seeing today fall.     May God help us all.  Pass this on...
