I am writing you regarding the case of Patrick Swiney. With the utmost respect for your court, I am humbly asking that Your Honor please review the facts in the case of Patrick Swiney in hopes that You will be able to take it into Your heart to see fit that he be considered eligible for justice at this time. This man, Your Honor, is very ill and has already served over ten horrid years in an Alabama prison. I ask only that you review the facts of this case, no favors, nothing special, just the facts.

In Deepest Prayer that You will spare his life and that of his wife and family who wait at the end of his long and painful journey to freedom.

Please add my name to the list of those who support having Patrick's case reviewed. It's important to have all the facts, they should be known.

Update:  The 11th Circuit Court received thousands of letters requesting that they "just look at the facts of this case."  They did not do that.  Instead, the 11th Circuit Court denied a hearing.  Their written reason was as follows:  [Patrick's motion to the court] "did not show substantial constitutional violations."  If being denied a fair trial, then being denied his right to counsel, then being denied Habeas Corpus do not show constitutional violations, then I do not know what does.
